Our garden was put in place to ensure our neighbors always have food on their plates. It is a safe space for wellness, gathering, and giving back to others.
We work closely with the Sweet Tooth Community Fridge to keep it stocked and clean. We retrieve food from local grocers and restaurants in order to keep the fridge full so everyone has accessibility to free food at all hours.
Our supply bags are equipped with hygiene and safety essentials. We recognized the opportunity to aid those facing houslessness, survivors of domestic abuse, and youth in the foster care system through this initiative.
We host monthly gatherings to meal prep 100+ meals for the Sweet Tooth Community Fridge. It's a time to meet other members of the Hive and also complete an act of service.
Mutual aid is our practice. Our start came from supporting BLM with food and hydration, but we have evolved into working with many partner orgs in whichever way we can.
A community's needs are always changing. Our organization flexes to meet the immediate needs of our social kin. Some examples may be fundraisers, supply drives, webinars, etc.
